Installing Java

Most of the Silverthorne Shipping Saver is written in the Java computer programming language. The first thing to do is determine if Java is already installed on your computer. View this web page on the computer you plan to install the Silverthorne Shipping Saver.

The version and vendor from the JVM

If Java is working, you will see a pink box above with one line of text that displays the version of Java on your computer.

If Java is not installed on your computer or your Java version is less than 1.5,  you will need to download the Free Java Runtime Environment. The Java download page shown in the screen shot below is marked by a red arrow showing what you should download.
